Hellifield is a parish in the Craven district of North Yorkshire. It lies on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park and is just a stone’s throw from the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it provides a good base for walkers who can roam amongst the rolling hills, dry stonewalls and agricultural land.

Hellifield is also a great place to live. A thriving, caring community having the benefit of its own primary school, church and chapel, pub, club, village hall, local shops and businesses to serve the village . It has good road, bus and train connections to West Yorkshire and Cumbria and is directly linked to the famous Settle to Carlisle train line.

A well-known and beautiful phenomenon around the village are the Hellifield Flashes, which are large natural ponds in the fields that provide an important part of the habitat for migratory birds.
